How much is the thing in the back going to weigh?
8 lbs per gallon. 3 gallons. Would be about where the magic number would be.
The two main problems here are liability (you'll have to say this is only for target practice and should never be shot at a person just like an airsoft gun), and your design is shit (sorry to be harsh, I've been drinking). I don't know if you've ever shot a water fire extinguisher before, but I can say from first hand experience the trajectory is practically a straight line the first ten yards. Great for target practice. What's needed is a fairly large steel tank air reservoir that can be pumped up to high pressure (at least as far as water guns go) with a regulator and a very small hopper tank (could even be a long hose). I'm not giving this idea to you either, if you use it, I'd expect part of the royalties. I studied fluid dynamics in graduate school, and I could give you exact volumes and specs if need be. Kudos to you for coming up with the water balloon holders gimmick though. And sorry to come across as an ass, I just read back over that. I'm generally a nice guy if you wanna talk it over.
